Replacement and Rehabiltation of existing Sewerage System- Vrishabhavati Valley, Bangalore Back

TTI studied the existing condition of approximately 27 km of sewer mains of 450mm to 1800mm diameter. The studies included detailed topographical survey and geotechnical investigation along the pipeline routes. It also included a detailed technoeconomic evaluation of pipes of various materials. TTI recommended RCC pipes with high alumina cement lining till 900mm diameter and RCC pipes with PVC liming for mains having more than 900mm diameter. The report recommended the replacement of 20 km of sewer mains.


Kadabesinahalli Sewerage System -Bangalore
TTI , as part of the Environmental Action Plan , of Bangalore WSSB studied the possibility of increasing the sewage flow to the existing Kadabesinahalli Sewage treatment plant, by facilitating the flow from the new development relating to IT business parks and associated housing developments.
TTI investigated and firmed up an alignment of 13.5 km long trunk sewer to the Kadabesinahalli STP. Eight sub-mains which would discharge into the trunk main also were identified. The studies included detailed topographical survey and geotechnical investigation along the pipeline routes. It also included a detailed technoeconomic evaluation of pipes of various materials. The total estimated project cost was Rs.90 Crore.
The above three projects were executed for BWSSB, Bangalore during 2006-2007.
Sewerage Projects in Libya
TTI designed sewerage and sewage treatment plants for 16 settlements in the Tripoli Region of Libya. The sewerage mains were of uPVC up to 600mm diameter and of GRP above 600mm.
In all, TTI designed 340 km of collection network, 4 extended aeration treatment plants and 3 waste stabilization ponds. The biggest STP had a capacity of 30 MLD. The total estimated project cost for all the sewerage components was US$ 132.million.
